How do I delete an app from my Apple iPad?

To delete an app on an iPad, touch and hold the app icon on the Home Screen or App Library, tap "Remove App," then choose "Delete App" and confirm; alternatively, you can go to Settings > General > iPad Storage, find the app, and tap "Delete App" to remove it and its data. Remember to cancel subscriptions first if needed, as deleting the app doesn't cancel them.
From the Home Screen or App Library (Quick Method)
  1. Locate the app: Find the app on your Home Screen or swipe left to the App Library.
  2. Press and hold: Touch and hold the app's icon until a menu appears.
  3. Select Delete: Tap "Remove App," then tap "Delete App," and confirm by tapping "Delete". (If you only select "Remove from Home Screen," it stays in the App Library).

Important Notes
  • Built-in Apps:
Some essential Apple apps (like Safari, Mail) can be deleted, but others (like Find My) cannot.
  • Data Deletion:
Deleting an app removes its related data and settings, but iCloud data might remain.
  • Subscriptions:
Deleting an app does not automatically cancel any in-app subscriptions; you must cancel those separately in Settings.
